Corporate Citizenship is a one stop consultancy that can offer clients around the world unrivalled breadth and depth of experience in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. Corporate Citizenship was formed by the merger of leading CR consultancies The Smart Company and The Corporate Citizenship Company at the end of 2007. We are a member of the Bell Pottinger Group part of Chime Communications plc.
The Smart Company was formed in 2000 by Amanda Jordan and it was quickly established as a leader in the emerging corporate responsibility market, becoming part of the Chime Communications Group in 2001. Amanda was one of the pioneers of CR thinking and in the early 1990s became one of the first FTSE CR Directors at NatWest.
The Corporate Citizenship Company, was founded in 1997 by David Logan and Mike Tuffrey who had both been working in the field of community involvement and corporate responsibility since the 80’s. From the outset the company was distinctive for its focus on measuring results and international client list following David’s experience working with Levi Strauss.
